March Break Clay Camps 2012

March 12-16, 2012
Monday to Friday. Half-day: 9am to 12noon

Day Camp

All levels of experience welcome. We will try many pottery techniques such as pinching, slab building, coiling and the potter’s wheel! We will decorate and glaze all of our pieces and then they will be fired. Each student will create 6-12 pieces. Throughout the week we will have fun exploring additional arts-related activities, such as drama games and projects in other media. The London Clay Art Centre has a back garden plot which will allow us (weather permitting) to get some physical activity too!

Day Camp

August 20-24, 2012

Monday to Friday. Full Day Camp: 9am to 4pm
For kids & teens aged 11-15
Maximum 8 participants.
Instructor: Beth Turnbull Morrish

Cost: $255.00 (incl. all materials & firing)

All levels of experience welcome. We will try many pottery techniques such as pinching, slab building, coiling and the potter’s wheel! We will decorate and glaze all of our pieces and then they will be fired. Each student will create 6-12 pieces. Location
All classes are held at the new London Clay Art Centre, 664 Dundas Street, London, Ontario, which is on the Dundas bus line.
Parking is at the rear of the building. 

 

Online Registration

We are pleased to offer online registration through the security of Paypal. Use your Visa or Mastercard to securely register for classes online. (more about security from Paypal) Here is how it works:

  1. Review the classes below, and choose the class or classes you would like to take. You can also register for workshops online. Click the Register Now! button to choose a class. (You can remove it later if you change your mind or make a mistake.)
  2. You will be directed to Paypal's secure website, where you can set up a Paypal account in a few easy steps. You will enter your Visa or Mastercard number and expiration date.
  3. Paypal will notify the London Potters Guild of your registration, and your payment will be sent to the Guild too.

If you have any trouble with online registration, contact the web administrator.

Snail Mail Registration

If you prefer to register by mail, send the class name, dates and time, along with your name and phone number, with a cheque written out to “The London Potters Guild” to:

Cheques may be post dated to the starting date of the course. Registration is completed once payment has been made. Students will be accepted on a first-come first-pay basis.

Refund Policy
To withdraw from a course, you must notify the Program Administrator at least two weeks before the course start date for a complete refund.  Within two weeks of the class start date (and before the course has started), 50% of the fee will be refunded.

There will be maximum 10 students in a class.  Should there be less than 6 students registered, the class will be cancelled, registrants notified, and money refunded.
